Why I Became a Therapist
I became a therapist not only to support and encourage others in living healthy, fulfilling lives but also as a way to invest in my own personal healing, growth, and well-being.
Expertise:
Anxiety Treatment
Anxiety can feel overwhelming and isolating, but I believe healing is possible with the right support. Having witnessed the effects of untreated anxiety, I am committed to helping individuals find relief and regain a sense of calm. I take a holistic approach that acknowledges both the emotional and physical symptoms of anxiety, integrating mindfulness and whole-body wellness into the healing process. My goal is to empower people to break free from feeling stuck and move toward a life of greater balance and ease.
Depression Treatment
I am deeply committed to breaking the stigma that often surrounds depression and mental health. Having a personal understanding of how depression can affect not only individuals but entire families and support systems, I approach my work with empathy and compassion. My goal is to help people rediscover a sense of home within themselves—a place of safety, connection, and hope. Together, we work to navigate the weight of depression and move toward healing, empowerment, and renewed purpose.
Evaluations
I approach mental health evaluations with the goal of understanding and addressing the root causes behind the challenges someone is experiencing. My commitment is to provide clarity and insight through a thorough and compassionate assessment process. I believe that having a clear understanding can be incredibly empowering, and I’m passionate about helping individuals and families make informed decisions about their mental health care and next steps toward healing and growth.
Play Therapy
Play is a child’s most natural form of communication, and I believe it holds incredible power for healing and growth. Through play therapy, I create a safe and supportive space where children can express themselves in ways that feel comfortable and authentic to them. By meeting children where they are, I’m able to help them process emotions, build coping skills, and support their overall development. I am passionate about the impact play has on a child’s emotional well-being and brain development, and I am committed to helping children heal, grow, and thrive through this meaningful work.
Therapy for Teens
I have a deep passion for supporting teens as they navigate the challenges and transitions of adolescence. My personal experiences have given me a unique understanding of the pressures young people face, and they inspire my commitment to providing a safe, supportive space for growth and healing. I believe in the power of early intervention to make a lasting difference, and I’m dedicated to helping teens build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and thrive during this critical stage of life.
In addition to these areas, I also provide couples therapy, family therapy, and working with first responders.
