“Therapy is not about fixing what’s broken; it’s about creating the space to understand ourselves more deeply, so we can heal, grow, and embrace the life we want to live. It’s a journey of uncovering strength and finding clarity, one conversation at a time.”

Why I Became a Therapist

I became a therapist because, even as an introvert, I am very much a people person. I know that no matter what I do in life, I want to help others accomplish their goals and aspirations for themselves and their personal journeys. There is no greater feeling in the world than seeing that "lightbulb" moment in someone that has worked so hard for it. I want to be there for as many "lightbulb" moments as I can!

Expertise:

Anxiety Treatment

Anxiety can feel overwhelming, like a constant weight that keeps you from living fully in the present moment. Whether it's a persistent feeling of worry, racing thoughts, or physical symptoms that seem impossible to control, you're not alone in what you're experiencing. In therapy, we’ll create a safe space to explore the root causes of your anxiety and develop practical tools to manage your symptoms. Together, we’ll work on understanding the patterns of your thoughts and feelings, and find healthier ways to cope with the stressors in your life. You don’t have to face anxiety on your own. There’s hope for relief, and with the right support, you can learn to manage anxiety in a way that allows you to live a more fulfilling, peaceful life.

Couples Therapy

Relationships can be some of the most fulfilling parts of our lives, but they can also face challenges that feel overwhelming at times. Whether you're experiencing communication struggles, emotional distance, conflicts, or simply wanting to strengthen your bond, I am here to help you navigate these challenges with understanding, compassion, and respect. Couples therapy is a space where both partners can openly explore their feelings, understand each other's perspectives, and rebuild trust and connection. It’s not about blaming or fixing; it's about learning to listen, grow, and support each other in a healthier, more loving way. Through therapy, we’ll work together to create tools and strategies that empower you to communicate more effectively, address underlying issues, and cultivate a deeper, more meaningful relationship. Whatever your relationship looks like, you are not alone in this journey - I’m here to walk alongside you.

Depression Treatment

Depression can feel like an unshakable weight, a cloud that dims the brightest moments and makes everything seem out of reach. It can leave you feeling lost, exhausted, and disconnected from the world around you. In therapy, we’ll work together to create a compassionate space where you can express yourself freely, without fear of judgment. Whether your depression feels like an overwhelming fog or a quiet, constant ache, we’ll explore the thoughts and emotions that are contributing to your pain. We’ll also work on building new tools to help you manage day-to-day challenges, rediscover meaning, and regain a sense of control over your life. Recovery from depression isn’t a race—it’s a process. Sometimes, it’s about taking small steps forward, finding moments of light, and acknowledging your strength, even when it feels hard to see.

Grief + Loss

Grief and loss can feel isolating, overwhelming, and sometimes even impossible to navigate. Whether you're mourning the death of a loved one, processing a major life change, or struggling with feelings of emptiness, you're not alone. My approach is rooted in understanding, patience, and a deep respect for your unique path toward healing. Through therapy, we’ll work together to explore your emotions, find coping strategies, and honor the memory and love you hold for what has been lost. Grief is a deeply personal experience, and there is no "right" way to grieve. Whether you need someone to talk to, tools to cope, or simply a safe space to process, we’re here to help you find peace, clarity, and strength.

Childhood Trauma

Childhood trauma can shape the way we see ourselves, others, and the world around us. Whether the pain feels distant or still very much present, the effects of early experiences can impact your life in ways that may be difficult to understand or express. In therapy, we’ll work together to gently explore the memories, emotions, and beliefs that may have been shaped by your past experiences. My goal is not only to help you process and heal from the trauma but also to empower you to reclaim your sense of safety, strength, and self-worth. Healing from childhood trauma is a deeply personal experience, and there is no right way to approach it. We will honor your unique path and pace, always offering a space of acceptance and understanding.
